Celebrating 20 Years of Business

In honor of serving our partners for over 20 years, we’ve refreshed our look! Exciting changes are reflected in our logo and tagline, packaging, website, sales and merchandising tools, and so much more.

You Spoke. We Listened.

It was you, our distributors and operators, that inspired us to take the Dr. Smoothie brand to the next level. In addition to compiling the invaluable feedback received over the years, we hosted customer interviews to ensure that the any changes made were savvy improvements that made sense at all touch-points.

Customer Centricity.

The goal of the brand refresh was simple: offer clarity, transparency and a consistent look-and-feel for all Dr. Smoothie products and tools. As we roll out the brand refresh elements this summer, we will be better able to support our partners in today’s competitive market.

Taste is Still King.

Rest assured, our smoothies, frappes, blend-ins and more are just as delicious as ever. Better yet, new Dr. Smoothie Refreshers, made with green coffee extract, are joining the Dr. Smoothie product offering. Also joining the smoothie lineup, are Dr. Smoothie 100% Crushed® and Dr. Smoothie Organic veggie variants. The future is now – and it’s delicious!

 

Brand Refresh Elements

What will the updated label graphics look like? The primary changes you’ll see include:

  • Easy-to-follow blending instructions
  • Simple, straightforward product descriptions
  • Color blocking based on flavor and ingredients
  • Relevant product attributes and dietary claims
  • Refreshed consumer claims that are relevant to today’s buyers
  • New tagline, “Your Daily Dose of Delicious”
  • New secondary brandmark 
  • Big fruit visuals 

 

 

The Cafe Essentials brand will now be known as Dr. Smoothie Cafe Essentials – a portfolio within the Dr. Smoothie brand. This update creates greater consistency across the brand and simplifies navigating the Dr. Smoothie product line.

To further ensure your satisfaction using Cafe Essentials, we have addressed the following:

  • Updated the pack design to align with the refreshed brand guidelines
  • Developed flavor specific packaging and discontinued the previous “one size fits all” approach
  • Elevated product attributes and dietary claims
  • Simplified preparation instructions, customized to each flavor variant
  • Reorganized flavor variants based on industry categories:
    • Chai & Tea
    • Mocha
    • Specialty Coffee
    • Cocoa
    • Créme
